INCREDIBLE meat. Very delicious. Exactly what I was hoping for!! They have Galbi, beef tongue, skirt steak, Wagyu (of course), pork, tenderloin, etc. and it was all incredible. I recommend the galbi and the French platter. Note for English speakers: use Google chrome so it automatically translates the menu for you. And, if you want the grill changed, you have to order "net exchange" on the "service items" page.
View on GoogleA yakiniku restaurant 2 minutes' walk from the south exit of Kinshicho Station. With a name like that, I couldn't help being curious. Visited on a holiday evening with a reservation. You can probably book last minute, or even get in without a reservation. Given its location, I assumed it'd be a grubby place, but the interior is quite clean and even feels upscale. You order from your phone by scanning a QR code. That day was a Sunday, so maybe because the market was closed, things like the wagyu harami were sold out. Also, they have a fair variety of offal, but not that many cuts of regular meat like loin. We had namul, Furansujin salad, thick-cut premium salted tongue, premium mino, tongue sinew, kalbi, shimacho, Korean-style risotto. The premium mino was cut quite large and was better than I expected. The kalbi has a lot of marbling even at the regular grade, so grill it thoroughly before eating to avoid an upset stomach. It's close to the station, and seems good for when you want to sit back and enjoy yakiniku calmly.
View on GoogleI'd been curious about it for a while and visited for the first time. The 4200-yen classic yakiniku course. The meat quality was superb! The atmosphere inside was calm, which is rare for Kinshicho, so I could relax. The Korean-style risotto at the end was a bit spicy.
View on GoogleTo be honest, we were originally planning to go to a different restaurant. We were looking for a monjayaki place, but by mistake we walked into this restaurant on the 1st floor, and only later realized the place we wanted was on the 2nd floor (lol). But in the end, coming in here was absolutely the right call! Even though we walked in unexpectedly, the owner welcomed us very warmly. Our Japanese is still shaky, so there were moments when communication was difficult, but all of it together made for a really fun and memorable time. We ordered the "Furansujin Mori." We were truly amazed by the overwhelming volume when it was brought out! Just like the photo on the menu, no, even more lavish meat came out and we were moved. When we checked the menu later, it turned out to be about 600g. And above all, the meat was really delicious. Not just certain cuts, every single slice was full of flavor, and we were impressed right to the end. Actually, we had also ordered 2 kinds of pork, but seeing the size of the set we thought we couldn't finish it, so we apologetically asked to cancel. They graciously accommodated the sudden change, and we're grateful. Thanks not only to the taste but also to the owner's warm personality, it became a wonderful memory. We caused quite a fuss that time, but maybe the owner even remembers us. We're a group of 3 travelers from Thailand. It was the best memory of this trip to Japan. If we ever have the chance to come to Tokyo again, we definitely want to return. Since we're not used to Japanese, we wrote this review using a translator. We apologize if any expressions are unnatural. We'd be happy if our gratitude comes across. Thank you for the delicious meat and the wonderful time. Thanks for the meal!
View on GoogleI went to a yakiniku restaurant called "Furansujin" on Derby-dori in Kinshicho. I was drawn by the unusual name, and true to its name, it's a place where you can enjoy creative yakiniku incorporating French elements. This time I ordered the "Furansujin Mori," which lets you enjoy a variety of meats. Every carefully cut piece of meat was excellent, but what stood out most was the harami, packed with concentrated flavor and so tender I felt I could eat any number of slices! The "Red Soup" is as spicy as it looks, and beneath the heat there's deep richness and umami, an irresistible dish for spice lovers. Spicy but delicious, a truly addictive flavor. The atmosphere inside is calm, and I think it'd be perfect for a date too. When you want to enjoy slightly special yakiniku that's different from usual in Kinshicho, I think "Furansujin" is a good choice.
