This restaurant is about a 10-minute walk from the Skytree. It's not a famous place, but the food is good. Everything you eat is delicious. The pan-fried gyoza in particular are piping hot and tasty. The set meals are something you could eat every day. They come with coffee too, so they're a good deal. The horumon-yaki is also recommended. The Chinese tea is good too.
View on GoogleI'd seen this place every now and then and had always been curious! Went for dinner. Every dish was delicious! I was surprised at how big the gyoza were 😳 Not so much crispy as moist and chewy 🥟 Piping hot and delicious 😋
View on GoogleAs far as I can tell from Google Maps, it says credit card payment is accepted, but when I was actually there at lunchtime, they steered me toward PayPay. A female staff member told me something like they don't take credit cards at lunch. So I paid with PayPay this time, but no matter how good the food is, I couldn't shake a sort of 'hmm, not great' feeling, so I'm giving this rating. I thought maybe saying nothing would be most appropriate, but I felt this is by no means a customer-friendly restaurant.
View on GoogleMaybe because it was near the end of lunch, I got in smoothly, but they hadn't caught up on clearing tables, so I could tell they'd been busy. I had the daily special. It was solidly tasty. A home-style taste. I get the feeling you can't go wrong here. The service isn't bad either. I got the impression there are a lot of regulars, and I can see why. I only looked at the lunch menu prices, but considering how things are these days, I think they're really doing their best.
View on GoogleA neighborhood Chinese restaurant that serves set meals in the evening too. I got hungry on my way home from the Skytree, so I ordered the hoikoro (twice-cooked pork) set meal. The flavor was mild and the texture was super crisp. I enjoyed it very much. The food is cheap and tasty, and the place is spacious and clean ✨ The 'mama' (proprietress) was a really kind person, and everything was great I'm thinking of becoming a regular 😄 *Next time I want to try the sweet and sour pork or the chinjao rosu.
