A kappo restaurant specializing in eel. We also have sashimi, yakitori, and many other à la carte dishes. A restaurant with some history, now in its 43rd year since founding, and loved by the locals. We also have tatami rooms, so we accept banquets and parties as well. Takeout is also available.

This restaurant is a wonderful find for anyone looking for an authentic and high-quality meal. The grilled eel is prepared to perfection, offering a rich, savory flavor and a melt-in-your-mouth texture that is truly delicious. Beyond the food, the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The space has a cozy, intimate feeling that makes it perfect for a relaxed dinner. To top it off, the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, ensuring every guest feels right at home. It is a fantastic spot for anyone who appreciates great service and traditional Japanese cuisine.

I saw this place on Xiaohongshu. Since I was alone, I only ordered a small portion of eel rice and an iced oolong tea, which cost 3,700 yen. I went around 3 p.m., and there was only one other table besides mine. The staff provided excellent service. I’m staying nearby, but this restaurant is definitely worth making a special trip for.

Small restaurant with the best unagi. Not too sweet, perfectly done. The elderly couple was very nice and friendly. You can see the chef preparing the unagi right in front of you. Some of the bbq scent fill the restaurant making me hungry. The have english menu too. I would suggest that you make reservation because it's popular among the locals.

A small, cozy place with a very warm and friendly owner. Great for foreigners too – they make you feel at home. Just be prepared for a bit of smoke when the eel is being grilled. Worth visiting for the experience!
