best yakitori I've had 👀👀

The skewers are big, yet overall it's cheap. Personally, liver is one of those things I can or can't eat depending on the shop, but here I can definitely eat it. Actually, it's so delicious you absolutely should eat it. Even with takeout when you can't eat it fresh off the grill, it doesn't get too hard, and the smoothness of the liver plus that slight distinctive liver flavor makes the beer go down easily. It's a gem I always want to secure for the Sumida River fireworks festival.

At first glance the shop looks kinda grubby, but that's a big mistake. It's quite a renowned place. They grill everything properly over charcoal, the pieces are big, and wow, so delicious. Customers keep coming nonstop. Still tasty even when cold — that's the real deal. I hope they keep it up.

There's absolutely no problem with this shop, but the snack bar? (the owner's son?) in the connected row building is really touchy about how bikes are parked and is always keeping watch. From where I stand as a heavy user, it just looks like plain envy and jealousy. It's not the customers' fault that the shop next door is thriving while yours is dead empty.
