This place was recommended by a local, food was amazing and great service, super friendly. I only saw locals eating here, its has a warm calming atmosphere. You will get served by a sweet and friendly elderly lady. I only know a few basic words in Japanese, the owner/chef spoke very little English, but he was able to help me. Highly recommend.

We wandered in here this evening on a quiet Monday night, and had the most lovely dinner. There isn't an English menu, so come with Google translate and have some fun! We very much enjoyed a couple of the set meals, and everything was delicious. The seafood was all very fresh and very flavourful, and the chef and his family were very kind and helpful. We suggest bringing cash, as we didn't see a card machine. There might have been one, but don't miss out on an amazing meal if there isn't!

I had a great time with my local guides friends here. This restaurant is decorated in traditional japan style. How to order a meal when you're sitting on the upper level? You have to ring the staff by using the old style telephone on the table. haha, that's interesting! The food was really good as well. No doubt I'll come again.

If you don't speak Japanese, just ask for "tendon" ;)
