Amazing toro and sea urchin sashimi. Very nice owner. We had a great time eating here!
View on GoogleSpeechless. Worst taste, worst service. The chef talks like a gangster. Scary.
View on Google「すし 義純(よしずみ)」 is a sushi restaurant a 3-minute walk from the north exit of Kinshicho Station! It seemed like many people were enjoying chatting with the friendly chef-owner. The sushi toppings are fresh and delicious! He'll also recommend the day's specials for you!
View on GoogleFirst of all, the chef-owner's service was nothing like what appears in the reviews here; he was actually very polite. The price is fairly high, but the taste justified it. When we ordered hokki clam and pen shell sashimi, he took them from the tank and prepared a whole fresh one of each for us. Half of the pen shell was served grilled. We also asked for 7 pieces of recommended nigiri, and every piece was excellent. The balance between the toppings and sushi rice was exquisite. The uni and anago are especially recommended. Three-kind sashimi assortment Hokki clam and pen shell sashimi 7 pieces of nigiri Three draft beers Our stomachs were satisfied too. We'll be back!
View on GoogleLunch is incredibly good value. Both the nigiri and zuke-don are first-rate! The chef-owner is quite the "Edokko," speaking in a blunt, old-school Edo manner. Some people might find this service "scary"… But even though his language is rough, he's a kind person. I like the lively atmosphere typical of the old downtown neighborhoods.
