A cosy soba restaurant, owner is welcoming and polite. Flavoured rice in their lunch set was good
View on Googlei came just one time this chef make him self the famous soba
View on GoogleA 5-minute walk from the north exit of Kinshicho Station. In the direction where you can see the Skytree. Judging from the exterior alone, it's a refined soba shop. Inside, there are plenty of seats and it's spacious, and the calm lighting makes the interior refined too. ◆Hanamaki (¥1,400) I really liked the dashi of the broth and its just-right saltiness. The aroma of the mitsuba is refreshing, and the nori spread across the whole surface is smooth and delicious. The soba is handmade and apparently soto-ichi soba. I'm not very knowledgeable, so I looked it up, and it refers to soba made with a ratio of 10 parts buckwheat flour to 1 part wheat flour as a binder. I was able to enjoy a relaxing holiday lunch.
View on GoogleIn Kinshicho there's "蕎麦前 小まつ" The exterior is full of charm, so much that you think "Is this really Kinshicho?" It's wrapped in a calm Japanese atmosphere I went in right when it opened, but in no time it was full You can tell how popular it is This time I ordered the soba and tempura set It looked beautiful too, carefully arranged, and gave a refined impression The soba went down smooth and slippery, and the dashi had a gentle flavor Overall a well-balanced, comforting dish. Recommended for those who want to enjoy a meal in a calm space
View on Google蕎麦前 小まつ 〒130-0013 東京都墨田区錦糸2丁目13-2 TYビル I visited on May 3, 2025, for lunch. It's about a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho Station, and when I arrived before the 11:30 opening, there was already a line. The exterior, which you might walk right past if there were no line, is actually appealing, like a "hidden gem." Inside there are table seats and counter seats, with a calm atmosphere. The shop's recommendation seems to be the "Hiru Gozen" (lunch set), so I ordered that this time, but it seems you can also order à la carte. 【Hiru Gozen contents】 ・Small side dishes (2 items) ・Seafood and vegetable tempura ・Sea bream rice cooked with the fish ・Seiro soba While I waited enjoying a daytime beer, the dishes other than the soba were served first on a tray. Both small side dishes were carefully made, and the sea bream rice was delicious, with the umami of the sea bream spreading with just one bite. The tempura was small and served to be eaten with salt. The batter was crispy, not heavy at all, and very easy to eat. The main seiro soba went down smoothly with just the right springiness, and paired perfectly with the dipping sauce. Even the soba-yu after the meal was delicious. ※Please note that credit cards are not accepted. Thank you for the meal.
