I've been here many times and it's the best! The chef's seasoning is perfect too. I'll be back again soon! Thank you very much.
View on GoogleWent with 3 people on a midweek weekday. Glad we made a reservation. It opened at 6 PM and filled up right away. The food is delicious. Especially, as expected, the sashimi. Overall it felt expensive, but the food quality and atmosphere were good. By the way, 3 of us stayed about 3 hours and it was 7000 yen per person. The portion of each dish was small, though. It might be just right as a 2nd or 3rd stop when you want to nibble a bit
View on GoogleA warm izakaya where you can casually enjoy good food. Lots of menu items that drinkers will love. Plenty of healthy options too. The drinks menu is extensive as well. They have local sake from various regions. Personally, I highly recommend the shrimp shinjo. It takes time to come out, but freshly fried it's superb. The shiso accent is great too. There are almost never any young customers inside. My impression is that it's mostly gentlemen in their late 40s and up. So it's not noisy, and it's the kind of place people that age would enjoy. The menu is like that too. Both the chef and the proprietress are very kind. This might be a place that goes over well if you take someone senior to you or your boss. Looking forward to coming again.
View on GoogleEvery time I walked past, I'd look at the menu posted outside and think I'd like to drop in someday. But the last time I came, sadly it was full and I couldn't get in... this time they said, "If the counter is okay, we can get you seated, so please wait a moment!" Happy to wait, thank you! When I went in, the existing customers were two pairs at the 8-seat counter, and the tables seemed to be two-seaters combined depending on group size, with one pair seated there. Most customers were speaking in hushed tones, and I thought this must be a place where you can calmly enjoy food and drinks. Since I couldn't judge the portion sizes at first glance, I ordered the sashimi and yakitori as assorted platters. I was happy there was a half-size salad! It looked like the owner was running the kitchen all by himself, so instead of adding orders later, I put in a decent amount up front. Was the person serving the floor his wife? She moved very briskly, and her bright smile left an impression. I love receiving the finished dishes handed directly across the counter, it feels like a counter-seat privilege. The plating was so careful and delicate that just looking at it, I thought, this is guaranteed to be delicious! Of course, eating it confirmed that, and even mid-meal I was already wondering when I could come back... On the way out, when I said thank you for the meal to the owner, he looked right at me and said, "Thank you very much." His wife came all the way outside to see me off, adding, "Sorry it was only the counter," and said, "Thank you very much." Their thoughtfulness made me so happy! It was a time where I felt the very best hospitality. I'll definitely visit again!
View on GoogleWent on a friend's recommendation!! As for the food, I felt the level was quite high☆ Each dish is carefully made, yet the prices aren't that high, a satisfying lineup!! Besides the regular menu, they also have rare items like heshiko mackerel and umibudo, so I was personally very satisfied (^-^) The food is wonderful, but the drinks are a bit weak? It was a bit of a shame that they didn't feel very balanced with the food. It's far from the station, but weekends might be tough without a reservation, so be sure to make a phone call before you go!!! lol
