中華そば 満鶏軒Munchieken Chuka Soba
Japanese ramen shop serving tsukemen & oil soba in a compact, contemporary setting.
Chukasoba Mankiken is located a 6-minute walk from Kinshicho Station South Exit. This is a bowl that is thoroughly focused on duck, using a large amount of duck, cooked slowly with only water to extract the flavor fully, and seasoned only with duck oil, foie gras oil, and salt. Please enjoy the flavor to the fullest with the 100% duck soup where the duck's deliciousness is condensed. Also, the smoked duck char siu is an exquisite dish where the deliciousness overflows every time you chew! We welcome you for both lunch and dinner. If you want to eat ramen, tsukemen, or chukasoba in Sumida-ku, please come to our shop. We are waiting for your visit. *Payment is cash only.

Not really my kind of ramen. It was actually the first time I couldn’t finish a bowl. The shop is very small with limited seating, so expect a queue. You also need to place your order via a machine before joining the line, so it’s good to be prepared in advance.
View on GoogleNot bad if you like duck dishes like duck ramen and duck rice. The rice I had was great with the fried part, but the meat just minor lacking as compared to Gion Duck noodle I had which I preferred more in meat. My friends who had tsukemen felt too creamy but I believe in individual taste buds too. Overall worth the visit to eat but the shop is small so don't go as more than 4 pax. Best 1-2 pax.
View on GoogleThe duck chest is chewy with very nice charcoal flavor , but the skin is not marinated well so it’s not edible …I had to spit out most of them The duck thigh is horrible I couldn’t even finish it The texture is so hard and dry I don’t know what happened here The owner might be interested in opening shops without taking care of the quality. (FYI: This shop has the same owner as the fish ramen shop diagonally opposite)
View on GoogleStumbled upon this spot somehow with no line. It's so good. Best Chinese based duck ramen in Tokyo? Perhaps! Worth it even if there's a wait. What wasn't worth it is the side order of the rice bowl. Seating is minimal, about 8 counter seats. You order via machine which takes cash, credit and ic. I would not come here with more than 2 people.
View on GoogleThis was one of the worst ramen experiences I’ve had in Japan. The ramen itself was mediocre, but what really ruined the experience was the attitude. The owner rolled his eyes while serving us and made us feel distinctly unwelcome as foreign customers. Whether intentional or not, that was the impression we left with, and it completely overshadowed the meal. The foie gras rice bowl was especially disappointing. Putting foie gras on top of soggy, overcooked rice is honestly an insult to such an expensive ingredient. The rice was mushy and watery, and the combination simply didn’t work. It was actually the first time I couldn’t finish a bowl of ramen. The shop is tiny with very limited seating, and you have to buy a ticket from the vending machine before lining up. Unfortunately, even if you’re willing to wait, I don’t think the food or the service is worth it. I won’t be coming back. There are far better ramen shops nearby where both the food and the hospitality reflect the standards Japan is known for. This place was a huge disappointment.
