Hole in the wall, popular with locals, with no English menu, so keep Google translate handy. They specializes in pig organs. Plenty of beer to carry one through the great skewers and tapas. They do loose track of orders when the crowd fills up so it'll help if you're keeping track yourself.
View on GoogleA popular motsuyaki spot that's open 24 hours except Mondays. The motsu had no gamey smell, and the more I chewed, the more flavor came out. The menu is extensive and the portions are generous, so I'd like to come again next time. The old-downtown atmosphere was nice too.
View on GoogleThe biggest appeal is the unpretentious coziness and the high quality of every single dish, nya. The value for money is excellent too, so you're safe even if you go hungry. Drinking alone quietly at the counter is great, and it's perfect for chatting with friends too. My advice: you can't skip the "chuka soba" and "chashu egg" to finish, nya! It gets lively when it's crowded, so I recommend shifting your timing a little or checking reservations. The staff's attentiveness is truly wonderful, so even first-timers can relax at ease, nyan. Anyone who likes a retro vibe is sure to love it!
View on GoogleVisited Motsuyaki Nikomi Kaede South Exit branch in Kinshicho. The seared premium tongue sashimi had a great texture, and the A4 rib roast yaki-shabu TKG was rich and delicious too. There's a wide variety of skewers and vegetable skewers, which keeps the drinks flowing. A place you can enjoy all the way to the chuka soba at the end. Nice that they have Häagen-Dazs too.
View on GoogleI went at lunchtime. The beef motsu stew was simmered until tender. The 3-item motsu sashimi platter had a different texture for each, which was nice( ´∀`) With the A4 rib roast yaki-shabu TKG, the egg yolk and meat go great together, which keeps the drinks flowing. The assorted skewers, tsukimi tsukune, and eringi skewers were fragrant too, and the miso cucumber and ume jako cucumber were refreshing. The homemade chuka soba to finish was light yet rich, and I ended up full( ´∀`)
