The best ramen shop in Sumida City! The Spicy Miso Ramen was soo delicious, it was my personal favorite. Came to visit with a couple and friends and ended up having the best 2 weeks ever. The owner Masaki was the best host for the awesome hospitality. It was very foreigner friendly, he knows English! All his staff was super friendly.

I have eaten at many restaurants around the world, but nothing comes even close to Menya Shirahige in Tokyo. The ramen and gyoza were honestly the best food I have ever had in my entire life. Every single bite was absolutely perfect — the broth was rich and full of flavor, the noodles were cooked perfectly, and the gyoza were unbelievably delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing, and the staff were some of the kindest and most welcoming people I have ever met. Their hospitality made the experience even more unforgettable. Menya Shirahige does not just deserve praise — they deserve a Michelin Star immediately. This restaurant alone is a reason to fly all the way from Germany to Tokyo. If you visit Tokyo and do not eat here, you are missing one of the greatest food experiences imaginable. Absolutely perfect in every way. 10/10.

The best ramen I have ever had! The pork was super tender and every ingredient was so fresh! I have allergies and the staff were super helpful and accomodating, even with the language barrier. They also gave us free Yakult! 10/10 experience would love to come back!!

If you are in Kanegafuchi or near Sky Tree I highly recommend stopping in at Menya Shirahige for some delicious Hokkaido ramen.🍜 Masaki-san, the owner, serves up a number of ramen dishes including seasonal, specialty ramens. My friend & I started off with zangi…Hokkaido style karaage…& Sapporo beers 🍗 🍻 The zangi is big & juicy! It’s served with your choice of sauces….the lemon butter & special sweet & spicy sauces were favorites. We also enjoyed a dish of agegyoza. 🥟 Again, bigger than your usual gyoza & tasty.😋 The lemon butter sauce went surprisingly well with the gyoza. 💯 My friend had the special spicy miso ramen with grilled cheese 🧀 🌶 My friend added coriander topping making for a unique & delicious taste ❗️👍🏽 I went traditional with the butter corn ramen 🧈 🌽 …I kept it simple & added bit of black pepper. I was not disappointed. 😁 I usually don’t finish all my ramen soup, but Masaki-san’s soup is good to the last drop‼️🏁 Lastly, the mural on the wall of the shop, hand painted by a tattoo artist, is super cool & is a good back drop to the neon signage & edgy interior….you’ll also get a chuckle from the art Masaki-san curated for decorating the WC….😆 I’ll definitely be back to try the seasonal specials & more zangi‼️🤩
