It had been closed for a long time, but it reopened so I visited, this time the regular holidays are apparently Monday & Tuesday, I tried to order the thick-noodle yakisoba with chunky potatoes instead of meat, but unfortunately it was sold out to reservations; by the way, the shop has no phone or internet, so you can't order by phone or anything(ｰдｰ) I really wanted to eat the black yakisoba from the owner, who's from Tochigi🎵 The takoyaki were the type grilled well on the outside with a soft inside, not the type where they pour in oil and fry them like a certain major chain, This time no one else was there so I could eat the takoyaki standing inside the shop, but it's basically a takeout shop.

A takoyaki shop in Higashi-Mukojima run single-handedly by a friendly lady. They serve delicious takoyaki with a very crispy, crunchy surface. Since it's a takeout-only shop, the ideal is for locals to buy some and take them home to enjoy with a highball or beer. I moved out of this area before the shop opened, which is a shame. Now I use it when I come to Mukojima on errands.

The 6-piece pack is gone; now there's only the 8-piece pack. While there are lots of stingy shops that write "(tax excluded)" in small print to half-trick you into buying, it's nice that this place shows tax-inclusive prices from the buyer's point of view. As for the takoyaki itself, it's slightly crispy on the outside and gooey inside, and the batter is well seasoned, so it's very tasty. Also, it's not a problem for us since we never wanted it anyway, but I think they probably don't have mayonnaise here (since I've never been asked).

The gooey, big takoyaki were delicious, and reasonably priced too, I recommend it
