Craving for a homemade tonkatsu at our last day stay in Skytree/Solamachi area, we stumbled upon this unassuming tonkatsu shop in Google, and it was worth a visit. They were very helpful and welcoming. The tonkatsu is fresh and crispy (tried the shrimp, fish and pork). Good portion size, too.
View on GoogleI had ordered tonkatsu set and garlic set. Both were very delicious. I highly recommend it and will surely come back again when I get the chance. Additionally, English menu is provided.
View on GoogleA modest little restaurant, yet it serves delicious pork cutlets. Stepping inside felt just like walking into a family-style eatery from the Japanese dramas I used to watch as a child. It’s warm and welcoming. Even though the younger owner doesn’t speak English, his attitude was still very kind and enthusiastic. And what’s more, when the elder owner happened to pass by and saw us struggling with the umbrella lock, he eagerly came over to help. We ordered the first and second pork cutlets on the menu. Personally, I preferred the second one because the meat was more tender and juicy. Highly recommended!
View on GoogleVery small along the corner near the Skytree. Me and my boyfriend only happened to passed this place but we decided to try. We really loved it and unfortunately we didn't got the chance to take a photo of the foods. So when I came back together with my friends, I recommended this place. She also fell in love with the food because it was not greasy. The sides were also good and definitely recommended to all my friends coming here. If I'll travel alone, I will come back as well. Highly recommended. The locals really loved this place. People really comes and go. The vibes is an old japanese style place. I hope you will visit it next time. They also have english menu so no worries. Just point at the food that you want.
View on GoogleI got a sashimi bowel with rice, miso and some really nice sweet beans. The chief didn’t speak English but a nice local was able to help me translate. The food was delicious and I really enjoyed sitting next to the fish tank. I think I only paid about ¥1400 for everything, which is amazing. I visited on 21/01/2025.
