Shortly after opening, I went in, probably as the first customer of the day Right before I left, 2 people came in It was pretty much just me Simmered nikudofu Wakegi nuta Cheese and tomato oven bake Shime saba Otoshi Everything was delicious😋 But it seems everything I ordered was prepped from scratch after ordering... So it took quite a while to come out I ordered thinking of them as quick dishes, aiming for just-ladle (nikudofu), just-plate (wakegi nuta), just-slice (shime saba), but I was wrong In return, you could feel the careful handiwork👍 Better to check which dishes are quick before ordering The cheese and tomato oven bake has a different name on the menu It was over a month ago... I couldn't remember💦 Most of the menu is written densely on a whiteboard You can't read it unless you get close💦 You can barely see it from a nearby counter seat So according to reviews... it seems better to take a photo with your phone and order from that As for drinks... after a few beers I switched to sake, hot Yonetsuru🍶 Thanks for the meal✨
View on GoogleAn extremely old-school izakaya with a Showa-era atmosphere. And I was surprised by how many handwritten menu items there were. It's run by a couple(?), so I think there'll be some wait before food comes out when it's busy. Every dish was carefully made and very delicious. It might be good for drinking quietly and leisurely. It's so quiet that drinking alone might feel a bit lonely.
View on GoogleI visited during a business trip to Tokyo. The cozy interior was relaxing. The menu is extensive, so you want to order this and that. The motsuni was the best.
View on GoogleAllowing smoking is an automatic fail 7 customers 1 of them a smoker The whole place reeks of cigarettes I wish smokers would just disappear Do they think customers won't come unless smoking is allowed? I wish they had more confidence Anyway, it reeks of cigarettes… Only ordered what's in the photo, 2000 yen total It said oolong highball 450 yen, but… Is it just that the otoshi is ridiculously expensive? Or does the shellfish cost around 1000 yen? Expensive, and smoking allowed, I'm never going again A place where you'd better check prices
