We went to the front of house portion here. The staff was great with a nice warm atmosphere. Lots of lively other groups here that made it feel very comfortable without it ever becoming too loud. They were very helpful with advice despite our very limited Japanese, and we tried quite a few of the items and didn't find anything bad. The prices also all felt extremely reasonable (doubly so coming from the USA).

View on GoogleThe shop visited in May 2025 after about 10 years, has been beautifully renovated✨ The 2nd-floor seats that used to exist are gone, only table seats on the 1st floor. But, the deliciousness of monjayaki and okonomiyaki remains. Draft beer with a size that is truly "This is a large glass🍺!!" is satisfying to drink. This time for the first time, I ate anko-yaki and anzu-yaki. It is a grill, and a dessert. Please taste it. Tables and chairs are lined up narrowly inside the store. I think the box seats have a capacity of 4 people, but sometimes you have to sit crowded for 6 people. Exhaust is weak, and smoke containing oil rising from the iron plate sticks to clothes. There is a storage section under the box seats. I think it's better to put the jacket in a plastic bag you brought and put it in the storage section.

View on GoogleJuuya, the shop on the front is an izakaya, and if you enter from the back right, it is a monjayaki and okonomiyaki shop. This time, with my wife and mom friend, three of us, it was my first time coming. My wife and mom friend seem to have come several times. My mom friend knows a lot about night restaurants in this area, and one of her recommendations is this. Maybe because of the rain, it happened that there were few customers, but it seems there are times when you have to wait. We ordered monjayaki, okonomiyaki, yakisoba, and large beer x2, small beer (usually medium) x1. At the monjayaki shop in the back, you can also order the izakaya menu on the front, so the menu is abundant. The monjayaki shop in the back has a spacious and relaxing space. A comfortable shop.
