Yakiniku restaurant

★ 4.1234 reviews

1 minute on foot from Kinshicho Station's South Exit. A fillet-specialty yakiniku and steakhouse tucked in the basement of a building marked by a cow statue. We offer rare cuts such as chateaubriand—the finest cut—along with carefully selected Kuroge Wagyu fillet and thick-cut beef tongue at reasonable prices. Pairing them with over 30 wines chosen by our sommelier is exceptional as well. A refined space where you can relax without worrying about smoke or odors, ideal for dates, anniversaries, and important dinners. As a modern meat izakaya offering everything from yakiniku and steak to specialty dishes, please enjoy to your heart's content. [English] Kinshicho 1m.

Fillet Bar completely blew my mind. We ordered a spread of dishes, and every cut was incredibly tender and flavorful—honestly the best beef I've ever had. The quality is absolutely insane. Highly recommend!

Everything I had here was fabulous. Most of the cuts of meat I didn't know what they were, but doesn't matter, they were all delicious. Very helpful staff as well.

Found this on the Moxy Kinshicho's website for recommended restaurants near the hotel. After some elaborate kaiseki ryoran at our onsen in Hakone the previous night, this totally hit the spot for a simple, high-quality meal in the area. Ordered a mixed platter of tenderloin, culotte and skirt for two people, and the stone pot garlic rice. We quickly devoured it and did an additional order of skirt and another stone pot garlic rice with fatty beef parts, which was excellent and tasty. There's an English-language menu and the servers speak English as well. The cocktail and wine options are decent, and the restaurant does a meat auction in Japanese in case you speak the language and want to get lucky.
