Awesome soba noodles. Great little place. The staff were super friendly even though we couldn’t speak Japanese. They had English versions of menu and instructions on how to eat the noodles. Enjoyed them so much. Super tasty. The chef came out to great us so we could thank him (see photo). I had the Hokusai inspired dish.

I already want to come back. Their soba is marvelous and they even have a foreign friendly menu and instructions on how to eat the soba if you don't know. They also have lunch specials. We also had some tempura, perfectly made. Thank you!

11/10 Bar “snacks” unbelievable tofu flavor and topping comparable to paneer flavor like nothing I’ve ever had before very umami. Served with shiso leaf and potato salad with micro fried garlic, incredible. Beer was asahi and it was the best I’ve ever had, foam was unbelievable, flavor and drinkability was incredible, I couldn’t believe it was regular asahi. Main course we had a cold soba noodle set and a hot noodle set, the hot had fried mochi squares that undeniably added to the flavor and texture profile that was light yet deep. Baileys(wife) tempura was perfectly cooked and by perfect I mean I have never had a perfectly crisp tempura shrimp with a moist perfect internal temperature. Michelin level. The staff was impeccable and catered to our every tourist need and helped us learn how to finish the soba with the extra soup noodle water. The best meal I had in Tokyo so far by far

It tends to be crowded at lunchtime, so you might have to wait a little. Also, after ordering, it can take some time for the food to be ready, so it may not be the best option if you’re in a hurry. That said, the flavor is reliable and the soba is delicious.(22/september/2025)
