Excellent Japanese confectionary. Their mochi is very good with an excellent texture. The anko (sweet red bean) desserts are great defiantly better than average. Nice atmosphere and great friendly service.

Lesser known among tourists. The traditional desserts were excellent. Long queue during weekend but worth the wait.

Good stuff! Desserts are quite good and drip coffee is very decent. Have to get back for the lunch and dinner menu sometime. Prices also very reasonable.

This place would be amazing if not for the older lady with glasses who's already infamous in the Japanese reviews as being unpleasant. It started the moment I saw her step outside and force a little girl who was sensibly waiting in the shade back into the blazing 38-degree sun. I was also partially standing in the shade, ensuring I wasn’t blocking the sidewalk, and there was more than enough space for people to pass by, including cyclists. The lady is unbelievably rigid forcing people to wait in line of 1, refusing to listen or show any flexibility, and her business manners are downright terrible. She seems completely devoid of empathy. Maybe it’s time for her to relax, loosen up, and stop taking herself so seriously. Her made up rules aren’t above common sense, and as an adult, I’m perfectly capable of judging whether I’m blocking a passage or not—something that was absolutely not the case here. But she clearly couldn’t handle being told no, to the point where she made us wait an extra 30 minutes outside in the scorching heat, even though two-thirds of the restaurant was empty. I’m seriously considering coming back with friends who just like me have some critical thinking just to see how the situation is handled.
