This is a lovely little restaurant operated by two friendly cooks and a kind waitress. It’s no frills in terms of location and setting, but the food is expertly made, full of flavour and love, and incredibly good value. It’s just tucked around the corner from the more up market Skytree mall complex. The gyoza was well made - stuffed with delicious ingredients and expertly cooked.

Super large portions. Really unbeatable for the price As a solo traveler, I find the atmosphere very pleasant; you can comfortably eat alone.

The fried rice has perfect saltiness and is really delicious, and the chuka soba is like late-night street-stall ramen, a perfect match for the shop's atmosphere👍 I came on a recommendation from a hairdresser nearby, and I've finally found a good place✨

Back when I worked at Skytree, I'd sometimes have lunch at 復興軒. I visited again for the first time in quite a while. It's right near Skytree Station, but on the opposite side from the Skytree entrance. As many people have written in their reviews, the inside has a Showa-era vibe. There are about 22 seats. No counter seats, all tables. It's a neighborhood Chinese restaurant with noodle dishes like ramen, set meals like mapo tofu set, and à la carte dishes. This time I wanted rice, so I ordered the miso stir-fried vegetable set (900円). It's called stir-fried vegetables, but there's plenty of pork in it too, so it's basically hoikoro. The simple seasoning makes the rice go down fast. The miso soup is daikon miso soup with a slightly strong flavor. It comes with pickles. It's easy to visit alone and a comforting place. Smoking is allowed inside, so it's a welcome place for smokers. Eating at the Skytree restaurants is nice too, but I hope you'll also visit this long-standing shop.
