Lunch set is very high value for money. JPY1200 for tempura rice bowl (tendon) and soba noodle. Soba is homemade and texture is good. Tempura is good too with tasty sauce. Note: the lunch set will stop early if they run out of rice It's a small restaurant with 12 seats and only 1 local server. Expect some waiting for seating and ordering

This is a traditional soba and tempura restaurant, the soba has great texture and the tempura is super delicious. Staff cannot spread English but it is fine, we ate delicious food anyway😂

It was delicious. My first time in Oshiage and my first visit here. Tenmori 1,400円. The soba's aroma was weak, but the flavor and how smoothly it went down were good. The soba, properly rinsed in cold water, was nicely chilled and looked like it was glistening on the zaru. Since it was tasty, I ate about half the soba with just salt. The tempura is fried in quality sesame oil, crispy, and when you bite in, the aroma of sesame oil fills your mouth. The soba-yu being served just as I finished eating was perfectly timed too. It's been a while since I got to drink thick soba-yu at just the right temperature. By the way, I hesitated for a moment between this and the tendon set 1,300円, but when I saw the set served at the next table, the soba was way too small, so as a soba lover I stuck to my original choice. It was the right call. I came across an unexpected shop in an unexpected place.

I had the tendon set for lunch. The tempura was crispy, the tendon sauce on the sweet side, and the soba broth on the salty side, a perfect balance. Great value.
