The impact of taste is not good enough. It seems that the taste of the ingredients has not been brought out.
View on GoogleI visited again after a long time. I heard the Taiwan ramen was recommended, so I tried it. It has distinctive Taiwanese-style seasoning and is mildly spicy, with the flavor of cilantro coming through afterward. People who dislike that might not enjoy it. Personally, I found it delicious. I added the mini fried rice set, but the fried rice was a full rice bowl's worth, with simple seasoning. I'd like to eat it again.
View on GoogleThey're open relatively late at night, which was a relief because I was close to having nowhere to eat dinner. They also made a small serving of mapo tofu for me, which I had with fried rice. (Revisited 2025.05.14) I returned after a long time. It was delicious as always. This time I had dongpo rou and Shaoxing wine. The dongpo rou was good value. I thoroughly enjoyed it. (Revisited 2026.03) This time I visited because I was struggling to find somewhere for lunch. I had mapo fried rice. Once again, I felt it was good value.
View on GoogleLunch with mainland-style Chinese food. Rice topped with fried young chicken: I ended up ordering something a little unusual, but all the components themselves were familiar. It wasn't particularly Chinese-spicy; the rich, thick sauce was delicious. Mini ramen: The broth had a rounded flavor that exceeded expectations. Most dishes still come to no more than ¥1,000 even when ordered with this, so I recommend it if you're hungry.
View on GoogleI went to Manpuku Hanten, a neighborhood Chinese restaurant in Sumida. I entered around 9 at night. There was only one group of customers. You can enjoy Sichuan and Taiwanese cuisine here. I ordered fried rice and yakisoba. The food arrived in about five minutes. The fried rice was neither good nor bad and had a peppery kick, but I wished the rice had been fried a little more. The yakisoba was like street-stall yakisoba, but the sauce was just the right strength. The value for money is quite good for the amount of food.
