So down to earth, tasty and filling. The staff is kind and efficient and the care that goes into making the food is so obvious. Would love to go again!

It looks unassuming, but the food is truly delicious, and it's a restaurant the locals are proud of! I'm not good at taking photos, so they don't really do it justice, but the tonkatsu set meal and hamburger steak set meal are all delicious. It makes me want to go every week. It fills up quickly at lunchtime on weekends. Weekday evenings are relatively quiet, and L.O is at 19:00, so it's best to go early.

The hospitality was moving! First, there's a private space like a semi-private room, where you can relax on a sofa. Then they brought over a glass. I thought it was water, but it was warm water. (Much appreciated, since it was cold and chilly!) And everything in the Japanese set meal was delicious, and the dishes were cute too! (The salmon was grilled to perfection. The pickles and miso soup were delicious too! Mmm, I just kept eating more rice...) I finished my rice while I still had half the side dishes left, and when I set my bowl down on the table with a little clunk, a staff member came over and asked, “Would you like more rice?” And, amazingly, the second bowl came with an umeboshi! My eyes lit up. (Ah, that lovely sourness!) After I finished eating, just as I was thinking, “I didn't get to finish the newspaper...”, a staff member said, “Please take your time.” When I'd finished the newspaper and paid, they sent me off with “Have a good day.” For a 650円 breakfast, this was a level of satisfaction I'd never experienced before. Also, there was a houseplant right in front of me. Broad leaves tend to collect dust, but there wasn't any dust at all; they were glossy. I imagine it's carefully looked after. The understated but unmistakable hospitality and delicious breakfast filled both my heart and my stomach. It's a place I'd like to bring family and friends when they come over to visit. −−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−−− Today I got a salmon bento to take out! Everything is delicious, right down to the bottom! You can feel the care put into cooking every single dish. Isn't it amazing that this is 750円? It's a bento that restores both mind and body. Everyone, do give it a try!

I had the maguro zuke-don lunch. It was homey, beautifully and carefully presented, with a gentle yet deep flavor, and absolutely delicious. I'll be back.

I chose the meat-broth udon for lunch. I picked the thick noodles. Who knew you could get delicious Musashino udon here! There are plenty of lunch options too, so it's a place that makes you want to keep coming back.
