Since it is a small store, they do not have study guides for entrance exams and similar books. They stock popular paperbacks, children's books, magazines, stationery, and miscellaneous goods. The Ito-Yokado Musashisakai store along the Chuo Line has about 1.5 times the floor space, so I look there for things unavailable here. Since it is a Lumine tenant, you can also earn JRE points.
View on GoogleI had been interested in the book by Kyocera's president that appeared in a train advertisement, and it was displayed in a flat stack. The display puts topical books in an easy-to-find place, which is very good, and makes it easy to check their contents too. In the end, I bought the new edition of Den Fujita's book beside it. I really appreciate that Japanese bookstores give you a free book cover when you buy a hardcover book, and I particularly like Yaesu Book Center's distinctive, stylish cover design with flowers and an English logo.
View on GoogleFor a store inside a mall, I think it has a fairly good selection of children's books. Illustrated encyclopedias were displayed face-out. On the other hand, the selection of shinsho paperbacks and academic books is limited.
View on GoogleI went to buy Christmas cards. Although it is a bookstore, it also has many types of Christmas cards, which was very helpful, and I was glad to buy one I liked. I was surprised by the unexpectedly good selection.
View on GoogleA bookstore inside Lumine at Ogikubo Station's North Exit. They do not have comics, but there is a good selection of books for young children and magazines. You can enter Lumine directly from basement level one of Ogikubo Station, and its entrance is right beside the East Ticket Gate.
