This is an excellent teishoku restaurant and the value for money is tremendous. I guess they have approximately 20 set meals. The two we chose were excellent. Will go back regularly.

View on GoogleThis was my first visit, as I was nearby for work. The entrance door has glass you can't see through, which made it feel a little intimidating for a first visit, but it was just the right time for lunch, so I went in. The last of the 6 tables for 2 was available, and I was seated right away. I don't have a photo, but I ordered rebanira teishoku for 1050円 and natto for 150円. Perhaps because of the ingredients, the seasoning was on the sweet side. It was delicious and plentiful; I asked for some ichimi chili powder, added a little heat, and finished it. The best part was when the person next to me, who had finished eating, apparently realized they'd forgotten their wallet and told the waitress they'd come back later. She gave them a huge smile and said that was fine. I got to have lunch at a wonderful place. Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleAfter finishing work, I felt like eating at a teishoku restaurant and casually came to Hamadayama. The standard dishes looked good too, but the chukadon caught my eye, and I got in the mood for it. I ordered chukadon with less rice for 950円 and bottled beer for 500円. Despite the restaurant being full, it arrived in just under 10 minutes, so it was stress-free. Even with less rice, the portion was quite substantial. The thick sauce was served piping hot, with plenty of vegetables and plump shrimp. It had the gentle flavor I'd been looking for, and went well with miso soup rather than regular soup. The accompanying harusame salad was delicious too. I felt satisfied. The interior has 6 table seats and is small but calm. There were women dining alone too, so they must feel comfortable here. Next time I'll come for the fried dishes.
