I ordered 白胡麻担々麺+唐揚げ. The soup was mildly spicy, with seafood stock and sesame flavor. Do they use flying fish stock in the tantanmen too? The seafood umami lingered after eating and was delicious. The unusual toppings were wood ear mushrooms and garlic chives. The wood ear mushrooms added texture, while the chives and green onions gave a nice aroma. The miso-seasoned meat also had good texture and umami and was delicious. The noodles were thin and straight, and the soup clung to them nicely. I was disappointed not to notice any aroma or numbing sensation—perhaps there was no Sichuan pepper.

Tsukesoba 750円, 1 piece of karaage 100円. A ramen shop along 青梅街道, about halfway between 南阿佐ヶ谷 and 荻窪, roughly opposite a gas station. The menu is reasonably priced, starting with chuka soba at 650円. It was hot that day, so I had tsukesoba. A strong dried-sardine-based soup, with a generous 1.5 portions of noodles. As I slurped the smooth noodles, the seafood aroma gently wafted up. There was plenty of thick, crunchy menma, which felt like good value. The freshly fried karaage was also crispy, just how I like it. 2、3 pieces of karaage are a must.

My first visit after reading reviews. Since it was my first time, I ordered ramen and 2 pieces of karaage. You pay when ordering by putting cash on a tray; electronic money isn't accepted! The ramen arrived a few minutes later, followed by the karaage. A sip of the soup? I couldn't tell what flavor it was trying to convey. The noodles were also soba-like and didn't go well with the soup. My conclusion: a disjointed ramen! Only the karaage was delicious! The interior smelled strongly of oil!

I tried the highly rated あご出汁中華そば&唐揚げ at 吾ガ輩ハネコ! The soup was delicious enough to gulp down, and the perfectly judged thin noodles were delicious! I wanted ramen and was looking for somewhere I hadn't visited within walking distance when 吾ガ輩ハネコ caught my eye, so I went! I ordered あご出汁中華そば(800円)+チャーシュー(200円)+唐揚げ(100円), which looked good in the reviews☆ My impressions, review & comments after eating あご出汁中華そば at 吾ガ輩ハネコ ------------------------- ・Far from the station, but popular ・A fairly small place with only 6 counter seats☆ ・Even at lunch, you might get in after a short wait ・The あご出汁中華そば soup is delicious! ・The karaage is piping hot with a crispy coating—yum! ------------------------- It's surprisingly far from 阿佐ヶ谷 station. Maybe about halfway toward 荻窪, on the 荻窪 side? The shop is on a main road, and I walked there for a bit of exercise! It had been ages since I climbed a pedestrian bridge! When I arrived, there was a traffic light right in front_| ̄|○ I arrived at 吾ガ輩ハネコ around 11:45, but a peek inside showed it was full.. Someone looked almost finished, so after about 5 minutes waiting on an outside chair, I got in\(ˊᗜˋ)/ The counter seats are perhaps a little cramped.. I'm not bothered by that, but if you are, avoiding lunchtime might be best♪♪ The regular chuka soba(650円) was 500円 for a limited time☆ Possibly amazing value. Maybe the limited-time discount was why it was full!? I chose the あご出汁中華そば because that was what I wanted after reading the reviews, and added karaage because they said it was delicious too! Since I love chashu, I added that as a topping as well! You pay first, I guess? I put the money in the designated place, and a little later the payment was processed and I received my change! It's a small shop, with just one person doing the cooking. After about 5 to 10 minutes, the ramen arrived♡ First, a gulp of soup.. The gentle soy sauce taste, flying fish stock flavor, and slight toasted flavor were so yummy! The noodles were thin but had a good bite, and there were plenty\(ˊᗜˋ)/ There were 2 kinds of chashu, easy to eat, full of umami, and a good match for the soup! Slurp the noodles. Gulp the soup, then bite into the karaage. Piping hot and delicious! The coating was crispy and the meat juicy(ง •̀_•́)ง I wondered if I should've ordered rice too? But I can't eat that much.. It makes you envy people who can eat a lot, doesn't it☆ The construction-worker-looking person beside me ordered 2 pieces of karaage and rice too(´﹃`) Finally, I dipped the remaining karaage in the flying fish soup and took a bite. It went well with the soup too—delicious karaage! If I return, I'll definitely order karaage again☆ I couldn't finish all the soup, but it was delicious enough to keep gulping, and I was very satisfied! ------------------------- ・A long way from the station, but recommended ・A fairly small shop, best visited by 1 or 2 people ・Karaage is a must; order it if you're a fan☆ ・Lunch gets busy, so shift your timing a little! ------------------------- I like rich ramen too, but this had plenty of flavor and was delicious, so I'll return! It's a bit of a walk, but going as part of a stroll is a good option! Very satisfied with あご出汁中華そば&唐揚げ♡ #吾ガ輩ハネコ #阿佐ヶ谷ラーメン #阿佐ヶ谷ランチ #ラーメン #ランチ #スマホン食べ歩き

Visited around 17:50 on a weekday in August 2024. It's a small space with only 6 seats at an L-shaped counter. There were no other customers when I entered, so I sat in an empty seat and examined the menu. Chuka soba at 650円 is quite cheap. That would've been fine, but I went a little further and verbally ordered あご出汁だし中華そば at 800円 with a large noodle portion for 50円 from the male owner working alone. Payment was upfront, so I handed over a thousand-yen note and received my change. While vaguely thinking that the shop's name contains “ネコ” but there are no cat figures or photos displayed inside, I waited about 8 minutes before it was served. A sip of the soup brought a forceful aroma of flying fish stock. It was strong enough to seem fishy, but as someone with a high tolerance for seafood flavors, I found it quite a good punch. There was plenty of umami, and the seasoning base was a little sweet, making the finish start to feel heavy, but the spreading complexity of the flying fish's bitterness seemed just barely to keep it in check. The noodles had a faint chewy elasticity, but overall they were soft and left a sluggish impression. Wouldn't a firmer bite be better? The large noodle portion was very generous, perhaps about 270g before boiling. There were 2 kinds of chashu: chicken and pork belly. The chicken had a pleasantly springy texture, was well infused with flavor, and was delicious. The pork belly had a light, consistent bite, and the flavor of the seeping fat was comforting. The thick, baton-shaped menma was crunchy, crisp, lightly seasoned, and good. This was a shop with character in various aspects. Next time I'd like to try the regular chuka soba.
