Great place for quick sushi🍣

I definitely recommend this place, food, staff and decoration are awesome.

I had something to do in 方南町, so I visited 日本海 方南町店 for lunch, a place I'd been curious about for a while. I'd heard it was famous for good value on weekdays, and that day I ordered the daily special for 900円. When it arrived, I was surprised by how much was included. The main dish was a fresh seafood rice bowl with a good variety of toppings, making for a satisfying bowl. It also came with chawanmushi, a small hijiki side dish, and even fruit—an impressive portion and balance for this price. Everything was carefully prepared, with more than enough for lunch. Many of the other set meals and menu items caught my interest, so I'd definitely like to return when I'm nearby again. A lovely everyday spot where you can enjoy plenty of seafood at an affordable price.

After hearing rumors of the “best-value lunch” in the 方南町 area, I went to check it out. I ordered the daily rice bowl without hesitation. In this day and age, a seafood rice bowl with miso soup／chawanmushi／a small side／dessert (a mini banana) for ￥900! I was completely satisfied with the seafood's freshness, the portion, and the flavor—a truly great-value lunch! My recollection and understanding is that it's “weekdays only,” so I'd definitely like to go again when the timing works out.

This is a sushi restaurant near 方南町 Station. I visited with my family around 18:00, and the booth seating was spacious, so we could enjoy a relaxed meal. The seafood in the assorted sashimi and nigiri was fresh, and the preparation seemed careful. This place is popular for its extensive daily lunch menu, but in the evening, another attraction is the wide variety of individual dishes. They also have fried foods such as isobe-age and karaage, so we enjoyed plenty beyond sushi. There were still plenty of seats around 18:00, but it started getting crowded after 19:00, so coming earlier might be smoother.
