Ordered the sashimi lunch set. 990円. It comes with a simmered dish, pickles, macaroni salad, miso soup, and a choice of raw or fried egg, so it's quite good value. The sashimi consists of 3 types: horse mackerel, tuna, and negitoro, with a fairly satisfying portion. However, some of the rice was dried out and hard, which was disappointing. Apparently tea and water are self-service at lunch, but they didn't tell me until I asked. I'd at least like to be informed; it didn't feel considerate. Also, despite being self-service, they're only placed at the far end, making them hard to reach. I'd like water to be placed on the middle counter too.

I'd been curious about Totoya for ages. The staff were smiling, polite, and kind, putting me in a good mood even before eating. The saba bunkaboshi set itself was fantastic and gone in an instant. The miso soup had such a clean mouthfeel that I wanted a whole big bowl of it. Everyone saw me off with smiles at checkout too. Everything was outstanding.

You can get lunch at a reasonable price! The set meals during lunch hours, 11-15, come with a fried or raw egg. It looked a little intimidating to enter, but once inside it was really great! Next time I want to try the seafood rice bowl.

It caught my attention, so I went in. Superior sashimi set + bottled beer. It was delicious.

August 11, Reiwa 7 I stopped by after seeing Asagaya's Tanabata festival. I knew the restaurant was there, but hadn't had the chance, so this was my first visit／ Without waiting, I was able to sit right by the entrance! ※Various things happened afterward💦💦※ The food arrived in about 10 minutes! The taste was,,, appropriate for the price!? Maybe? Given the location, perhaps that's how it is. While waiting and eating,, something kept bothering me the entire time. It was,,,,,,, the grill beside my seat. Since it stayed on, the radiant heat was hot (burning hot), and I couldn't stop sweating! The air conditioning didn't reach either! Hmm,,, this alone was very uncomfortable. Was it because it was made of glass? The heat spread well, leaving me drenched in sweat! It might be fine in a seat farther back! The end.
