The owners are completely mental... and we love them. A dining experience like no other. Off the beaten path. Incredible food and drinks.
View on Googlevery delicious thou yakitori they have a lot of menus serve and they have a good service’s 🥰
View on GoogleA classic Ogikubo installation that has survived the test if time. At the very least, this place has been kickin' since I was born, first in its original location, literally right next to the train platform, and then in the current location tucked within Ogikubo ginza area. Their yakitori smelled so good, Ogikubo station became known as "the station that smells like yakitori". Now also serving fresh veggies and fish from Hokkaido, where one of the founding dude is from. Alot of it is from his dad's farm, but he's also recently started his own tiny farming project in Tokorozawa (Tokyo) too.

View on Google【Sakaba Horoki Pilgrimage】 A tavern cannot become a celebrated establishment simply by lasting a long time. It takes people and flavor before its noren curtain carries real weight. “Torimoto Honten” in Ogikubo, founded in Showa 27. Tucking into five skewers of tare-glazed yakitori, then enjoying more drinks with butter-sautéed shiitake. Inside, presided over by its famous proprietor, a pleasant liveliness flows again today. There is a proper reason a fine tavern makes you want to pass through its noren again. ✨️ ■Assorted tare yakitori 700円 ■Butter-sautéed thick shiitake from Onbetsu 500円 ■Asahi Super Dry (large bottle) 750円
