The worst dinner ever. 1) speed: we ordered set and single dishes, food set arrived quickly, but friends waited 40 minutes for a dumpling and an onigiri ( which has only plain rice, and nothing inside) people who arrived later than us had immediately the food just because they ordered the set 2) food quality: very bad. Everything we ordered was either too salty or uncooked. (See pictures) 3) for such quality and such bad service, we had even to pay 500 yen for the appetizers, which were 3 small side dishes, also badly prepared. I think they take advantage of the matsuri to cheat tourists. Please never eat at this restaurant.

Cosy but food took a long time even though there were only a couple more guests. Also more expensive than the average yakitori place. You pay a premium for the location and ambience for sure. Would only come back for a larger group gathering.

August 2026 Took a walk around the Tanabata festival and stopped here for a meal 【Sumibi Daidokoro Torimaru】 I wanted horse sashimi, found this place in a search, and booked online! I'd reserved counter seating, but for some reason was taken to a table without explanation. The horse sashimi I'd come for wasn't available, so I ordered a few dishes from the menu. The keema curry was mild and delicious. When I asked for the bill and handed over my JCB credit card, I was told they only accepted VISA or Mastercard. I had no choice but to pay cash, but their page says they accept JCB too. Despite looking forward to the Tanabata festival and dinner, this restaurant left me feeling bad. Disappointing. Thank you for the meal.

Everything is delicious! It was a cold day, so the otoshi included steaming-hot konnyaku♨️ It was soaked with flavor, and the other otoshi were delicious too—exciting right from the appetizers! They even brought the clam and napa cabbage soup already divided into portions, and its deliciousness warmed me through... The chicken tataki is a must too! The assorted yakitori is unbelievably satisfying🐓 The chicken is truly delicious. They also have a thoughtfully chosen selection of delicious sake, making it far too easy to keep eating and drinking! Maybe they can keep these prices because they're a little away from the station. I'm curious about lunch too.
