The building is extremely old and shows its age, so there is no stylish atmosphere. However, its prices are by far the lowest among the izakayas around here, and nothing tastes bad. You can enjoy dishes prepared with care. Before the COVID pandemic, the friendly owner worked in the kitchen from morning until night, and there were times when he helped me out when I was in a bind. My favorites are the maitake tempura, camembert tempura, and mentaiko omelet. They also pour the junmai sake generously for the price (though some part-time staff do not), so I feel like I could end up living out that line about starting with just one little drink. The sashimi is also very delicious, and the homemade satsuma-age is outstanding. (Because it has a short shelf life, it is served only from the evening.)

Hmm, not worth paying 4500... I felt dissatisfied when paying. I have never paid this much drinking alone at an izakaya...

The sign says it is a yakitori shop, but the interior looks just like a steakhouse. The food is inexpensive and delicious.

One of the few drinking spots in Takaido. I like its reasonable prices.
