Really good, authentic Thai food. The thick noodle spicy stir fry and omelette are phenomenal. They are also very kind about adjusting the food (like not adding meat) which is unusual in Japan. Will be back😊
View on GoogleIt's been about 15 years since my last visit. From the many menu items, I chose the Sen Lek Tom Yum and green curry set for about 1500 yen including tax. The balance of the Tom Yum soup is quite light. The aroma of lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves is weak, so it feels lacking as Thai food. The ingredients are also just minced meat and a tiny bit of vegetables, which feels lonely. I want more typical Tom Yum ingredients like bean sprouts, paprika, and straw mushrooms. The green curry gravy was a bit thick but within an acceptable range. Compared to the Thai restaurant I usually go to, it felt a bit disappointing in terms of cost and effort. Honestly, considering the content of the food, the cost-performance is not good.
View on GoogleJune 2025 Weekday lunch (12:00) ❤️Seasoning👍 ❤️Rich variety ❤️Clean shop ❤️Healthy feel 😒No photos on the menu 【Shop Atmosphere】 This shop with only counter seats is clean and comfortable. I was able to eat calmly even during weekday lunch. Personally, I would be happy if there was a bit more of a Thai atmosphere. For example, in Thai street stalls, ingredients are in glass cases or the cooking is visible. It's a common scene for Thai people, but for me, it feels like Thailand. 【Menu Features】 Menu is mainly Thai noodles, rice dishes, and sets. Because there are no photos and many arranged menus, first-time visitors might be a bit confused. Furthermore, noodle thickness and spiciness can be adjusted to customize to your liking. 【Set Menu】 Set A: Noodles + (mini green curry or fresh spring rolls) Set B: Rice dish + fresh spring rolls Set C: Rice dish + (Tom Yum soup or fish sauce soup) 【Noodles】 * Tom Yum Noodles (spicy and sour soup) * Fish Sauce Noodles (non-spicy soup) * Phet Pao Wan Noodles (spicy, sweet, and sour soup) * Haeng (noodle without soup) Rice noodle thickness can be selected from Sen Yai (wide noodles) or Sen Lek (medium noodles) 【Rice Dishes】 (15 variations, spiciness can also be adjusted.) * Rice with stir-fried minced chicken and vegetables (8 types) * Thai fried rice (2 types) * Soup rice (3 types) * Green curry (2 types) Others: toppings, side dishes, Singha beer available 【Order: Set A: Fish Sauce Noodles + mini green curry】 Fish sauce noodles are seasoned exquisitely, better than any shop I ate at in Bangkok! The soup was so delicious I drank it to the last drop. Thai noodles don't make you feel guilty even after finishing them. Since it's rice noodles, it keeps you full and doesn't cause indigestion. There is also a standard Thai condiment set on the table, so you can enjoy changing the taste to your liking. 【Overall Review】 * Good points: Good seasoning, clean shop, healthy after-meal feeling * Want photos on the menu to improve ease of first visit * It would be fun if there was a bit more of a Thai street food shop atmosphere. Payment method: Cash only อัลลอยด์เมอร์ ❣️
View on GoogleI went to the Thai restaurant "TUKTUK" right near the south exit of Nishi-Ogikubo Station! It's a small shop with only a counter, and the atmosphere is nice and easy to enter even alone🥹 Wrapped in the scent of a street stall, my appetite is turned on at once🙌 What I ordered Rice and Tom Yum soup set 1,355 yen Rice: Rice topped with spicy stir-fried minced chicken, garlic sprouts, and vegetables The way the spices are brought out is exquisite, and first of all, the stir-fried minced chicken on the rice is exactly to my taste😍 The crunchy texture of the garlic sprouts and the layer of umami that comes from behind the sharp spiciness was the best! Although there is no mention of "Gaprao", it's a type that makes you eat more and more without relying on basil-based aromas, but with the savory aroma of the stir-fry and spiciness, I couldn't stop my chopsticks✨ The accompanying Tom Yum soup has a good balance of acidity and spiciness, and the aftertaste is surprisingly mild! The scent of herbs wafts through, and I entered an infinite loop of resetting the richness of the stir-fried rice -> taking another bite...✌️This satisfaction with the set, the cost-performance is also convincing✨ Personally, the seasoning here is really my favorite🥰 It's not too flashy but it's a memorable "spicy and delicious" that really makes you feel the fun of street-style Thai food! You can drop by quickly and get filled up, if it were in the neighborhood, I would go there often✌️ Give it a try! View on GoogleThe Tom Yum Kung was very complex and tasted carefully made. Might be the best Tom Yum Kung I've had in Japan! The thick noodles were smooth and delicious.
