The staff was awesome, kind. The food was delicious with a gentle taste. Small table, but the service was great. Definitely recommended.

I especially liked the soba and udon noodles, even though this is a restaurant that specializes in tempura. If you try tempura, I highly recommend using yakishio (roasted salt) on the table. The small vegetable tempura rice bowl with soba or udon is ¥890. You can add a cold option for ¥30 or a large option for ¥100 to the noodles. The atmosphere isn’t particularly impressive, but the place is cost-effective.

Prices are reasonable but the tempura is not my favorite. It's a bit heavy and doesn't sit with me well.

I visited a little after 11 on a weekday. Since it was just before lunchtime, the restaurant was calm and I was shown to a seat right away. Being able to eat peacefully in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere was very nice. There were several lunch options, so I had trouble choosing, but that day I ordered the “seasonal tempura set meal.” It looked attractive, and you could tell it used seasonal ingredients. However…considering the balance between what was included and the price, I personally felt it was a little expensive. Free large portions of rice are a nice service, and the tempura is served freshly fried. However, the batter wasn't light and crisp; it was quite moist and gave a rather soggy impression. I'd expected the aroma and texture distinctive to freshly fried tempura, so that was a little disappointing, but the flavor itself wasn't bad, and I enjoyed eating it. The lotus root and some other pieces were crunchyー. Overall, although the atmosphere was good, taking the price, the finish of the food, and the service into account, I gave it ⭐️3.
