Very interesting ginger soy sauce based Ramen. Cozy shop that is managed by one person! The food was delish and so glad we stumbled upon this spot
View on GoogleThis ramen shop is located in the "Koenji Look Shopping Arcade." They are known for their ramen made with ginger. The subtle flavor of ginger that can be felt in the soy sauce ramen soup creates an exquisite balance. Many customers order fried rice as part of their set.

View on Google2025.8.17 The building is old, so you might hesitate at first glance, but this is an excellent Chinese restaurant. I visited again after 16 years. Back then, my workplace was nearby and I came often. Time has passed, but I'm grateful they're still open. Every item is still inexpensive and reliably delicious. Besides their signature ginger ramen, I personally love the “twice-cooked pork” and “tsukemen with meat.” The twice-cooked pork is simple, just pork and cabbage, but the sauce has an exquisite depth and sweetness from the miso. The meat in the tsukemen is tender, with a great balance of lean and fatty parts, and absolutely delicious. The soup is gentle yet savory and goes beautifully with the smooth noodles. I hope the owner takes care of his health and keeps this place going for a long time. Thank you for the meal!
View on GoogleA classic neighborhood Chinese restaurant run single-handedly by an earnest, skilled owner with no affected customer-service smile. The handwritten menu, rather than something made with a word processor and printer, has real character. Especially with prices continually rising due to inflation lately, the prices here are low enough to make you worry. I was drawn to the ginger ramen, which seemed to be their signature dish, but as a first-time visitor I ordered the ramen and half fried-rice set. It tasted exactly like what I'd come looking for. They accept Paypay, but surprisingly, instead of scanning a QR code through the Paypay app as you often do at independent shops, the shop's terminal scans the code on your phone.
