I've visited several times for the kind proprietress and the recommended menu that changes regularly. The prices are a little high, but this small restaurant has a lovely, nostalgic, old-fashioned atmosphere that's very soothing. The appetizer isn't just 1 dish, but a platter of 3 small portions. It's a very thoughtful, lovely place, so I visit as a treat for myself.

Made it through the end of the month, so I'm treating myself to a slightly indulgent drink. Katsuo tataki for 880円 and hamo satsuma-yaki for 580円, with a beer. I tackle simmered rainy-season sardines for 530円 with 1 go of 九頭龍 sake for 860円. The 480円 appetizer includes karaage, sweet rolled omelet, mozuku, and edamame. A little pricey, but I'm satisfied. The couple's service is lovely too.

【An izakaya that feels like home】 The homemade food is the best! Serving things like seasonal nanohana—delicious food really is a wonderful thing!

The ginger pork lunch set is delicious. The tempura rice bowl at lunch is delicious too.
