Wow wow and wow! Very cosy small restaurant but 5stars food and freshest ingredients

Excellent experience. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was intimate and friendly. We have already booked to go back. Really loved the mackerel and eel!!!!!! The miso soup is also unique and delicious. A once (or twice) in a life time meal.

A hidden gem. Excellent value for money, and they don't cut any corners on the ingredients. Both the portions and the quality are satisfying. The atmosphere is full of human warmth, and I could really feel the warmth of the owner and the people from the neighborhood. I want to go again.

On the way back from the theater with a friend, I peeked in once by myself and closed the sliding door again. Four backs lined up at the counter! Only 3 seats left! I opened the door again and asked “Can we get two?” and the kind-looking chef said OK, so we went in. The otoshi appetizer was delicious too! We ordered grilled fava beans, simmered squid and daikon, plus nigiri of our choice and drinks, and got change back from 4000 yen. A suuuper satisfying dinner.

Came here because of the ratings. I couldn't believe they'd serve bonito sashimi this far from fresh. Not a single good thing about it. And yet the prices aren't cheap either, and the narrow counter is uncomfortable to sit at.
