I had about 10 minutes before the restaurant opened, but there was one woman waiting in line, and I wondered if I should continue to wait. I wondered if I should continue to wait, but when I returned to the restaurant after a short stroll around the neighborhood, the number of people waiting increased before I knew it, and the restaurant was full within a few minutes after opening. It was a good decision to end the stroll early! I decided to wait for my lunch of Bean Curd with Bean Curd at Heartland and Xiao Long Bao first. Xiao Long Bao →The juicy filling of the dumplings is a perfect match for beer. Bean Curd Bean Curd →The appearance of this dish may give the impression of being extremely spicy, but after taking a bite, the spiciness and numbness were just right, and the flavor was a hit after a long time. I guess the bean-jam that can be seen here and there is part of the flavor. I was attracted by the fact that the dish was not only spicy, but also had a touch of umami and numbness. Since it is at this level at lunch, it must be even more amazing at night. I would like to start with a beer and a side dish, then switch to Shaoxing wine and enjoy a variety of dishes. The only thing I regret is the behavior of the people who seem to be regulars. If not for that, it would have been a pretty good restaurant.
View on GoogleNice place and atmosphere but food was average and its very expensive for what it is. Mabodofu was really spicy but tasted of nothing
View on GoogleReally delicious food and very accommodating of allergies when given notice ahead of time by a Japanese speaking friend. The mapo tofu was especially delicious!
View on GoogleDishes were totally fine but the price is way too high in my opinion
View on GoogleI made no sense to me why this resaurant was highly evaluated. Just midiocre.
