Fried oyster set meal 1,000円 カツ丼 800円 Stir-fried vegetables 500円 Visited at lunchtime on a weekday (Friday) 1 customer before me・1 after me, both seemingly regulars I was relieved that the fried oysters I always order here tasted just as they always do. I enjoyed the perfectly seasoned カツ丼 and its sauce-soaked rice, and the stir-fried vegetables, another regular order for me, were as delicious as ever. I was very satisfied. I'd like to return before too long, if possible.

As far as I know, this is a long-established set-meal restaurant that has been around since the 50s of the Showa era. The portions are generous for the price, making it good value. The menu has plenty of variety, and everything is very delicious. The freshly cooked bowls of rice are delicious too and leave you full. There's no denying that the place has aged over the years, but I hope it keeps going forever.

This is a delicious set-meal restaurant. Unlike chain restaurants, all the set meals are homemade, so I think it's good for people who care about their health. It's a hidden gem of a set-meal restaurant, so I didn't really want to recommend it, to keep it from getting crowded in the future... I often eat the natto set meal. The healthy food is its appeal. There are various other set meals too, so do give it a visit.

I went in because I was drawn to the exterior, which looked like a long-standing neighborhood set-meal restaurant (Western-style restaurant) in a historic shopping street. Croquette set meal 600円. Another post said the croquette set meal was 650円, but ours didn't have ham, so I think it was 50円 cheaper. The taste was, well, edible... or rather, these are croquettes from a wholesale supermarket, right? Surely just 1 small croquette isn't enough. My colleague was saying, wouldn't 2 croquettes for 800円 be more satisfying? Before any of that, though, the old guy (chef) is far too bad at cooking. It seems to be a former ramen shop with its fittings left in place, so you can see everything inside from the counter. That means you can clearly see how poorly organized he is: the fried food is completely burnt, the fried egg has burnt whites but a cold yolk, the rice is soggy from too much water, and I could clearly see him pouring on chuno sauce too. The old guy probably doesn't like cooking. It was a disappointing restaurant.

A questionable “汚ナシュラン”-style Western-food restaurant.
