Indian / Nepalese restaurant right near Shinkoenji station. I stop by for lunch on Saturday. They offer various curry and tandoori chicken lunch sets as well as a variety of biriyanis. I had the chicken biryani For ¥1300. The rice was fluffy and flavorful. Highly recommended

Very affordable but the quality is just not there for me. The curry taste watered down and the garlic naan didn’t have much flavoring. The size of the naan is huge and the portions are great but the flavor is just a little disappointing.

About 30 seats in a standard linear layout. Indian music playing. Pretty sure it was Hindi, though the friendly staff is Nepali. Lots of beer bottles suggest drinking in the evenings. Atmosphere is friendly and everything seems quite visible, including the daily special and the Wi-Fi password. Too much to hope for charging. Curry of the day was chicken mushroom and was quite good, though the spice was a Japanese scale of middling spicy. Slightly sweet but tasty naan was skillfully cooked. Long grain rice, and I think the salad had fresh dressing. Quite filling, good value, and I have to call it a high four stars overall.

Quite localized taste. Not much spice flavors in biryani. Also for 1500 yen, I would expect bigger chunk of meat and better quality of the rice. Over all quite disappointing.

I really love the Biriyani here, but just one advice: try this at lunch, not dinner. The lunch Biriyani is way different from dinner, where dinner Biriyani is wet and less smell.
