The somen champuru here is outstanding‼️ This might also be about the only place in Tokyo where you can eat grilled pig's trotters ✨ I was impressed 🐷 Of course the yakitori is good, and the vegetables we ordered as a palate cleanser were fresh, crunchy, and delicious too 😋 Best of all, I'm happy I can have both Okinawan food and yakitori 🍺💓 I'll visit again ♬

Taking advantage of GW, I traveled from Osaka to Tokyo for the first time in decades. I happened to walk into the izakaya Ryoma, where the staff were friendly and the atmosphere homey, so I felt great. I immediately ordered beer and the nostalgic salt-boiled peanuts I spotted on the menu, asked them to grill the chicken skin crispy, and ordered salted bonjiri. Delicious and cheap!! I'd thought Tokyo was expensive with bad food, but I realized there are affordable, tasty places too. Rather than going to a franchise yakitori shop that can only follow a manual, I recommend Ryoma, which is fair and accommodates requests for how you'd like things grilled (^^)v Give it a try~~~σ(^_^;

I found this little shop by chance, but it was unexpectedly delicious. Truly the best affordable grilled food I've had in Japan. You really do have to search in the little alleys.

They're good at grilling, but the quality of the floor staff is lacking. A place with pretty tasty food.

Visited for lunch. I think it was around 15:00, so it was helpful that they were open. I had a simple yakitori rice bowl.
