Choose a base. Normal or extra meat. Then add topping. Order at the counter. Small shop but friendly staff. Good price. Extra spicy you add yourself. Good taste.

A bowl with appetizing pork back fat floating on the surface. The tonkotsu shoyu broth is rich without being cloying, clinging nicely to the curly noodles. The moment you slurp, there's a comforting sense of “Ah, this is it.” The chashu is large and tender, releasing savory flavor with every bite. Nori and plenty of green onions add a nice accent. Simple but highly accomplished. The broth is so good you just keep drinking it. The shop has an old-fashioned appearance with a calmness characteristic of Ogikubo. Rather than flashiness, this ramen has the “strength to bring you back every day.” A bowl that made me want to eat it again.
