About 20 seats in a narrow and deep layout. Seemed a bit upscale for a simple lunch, but there aren't many lunch options in the neighborhood. Slightly retro atmosphere with quiet music. Doesn't seem to have any Wi-Fi or charging. The pictures are a couple of random pages from the large menu. After some confusion, I suspect that the regular procedure is for people to order in advance of arriving. Certainly no English capability and my Japanese was apparently unintelligible to them. From a strange notation in English in the menu, I suspect they've had interesting encounters involving foreigners. I even created a bit of a kerfuffle when I asked for a teshibori (手絞り). The B lunch of the day was quite tasty. The meatballs were chicken-based and the spaghetti was al dente, though I didn't ask for that. Very nice sauce. The broccoli, salad, soup, and rice were also good. Can't judge the consistency enough for five stars, though I got the impression that some of the customers were regulars. So I'm going to call it a high four stars.

I visited after watching popular TikToker よぉちゃん's video and getting an irresistible craving. A 22-minute walk from Kichijoji Station is admittedly a little far, but the taste is worth the walk. The tender, thick hamburg steak is easy to eat with chopsticks, and the rich demi sauce with a gentle hint of acidity makes you shovel rice into your mouth faster. This is exactly what I wanted! Other dishes looked delicious too, so I'll definitely be back👍
