The prices are affordable and on the low side, with the Igusa Lunch soba and oyako set, served seiro-style, costing 900円. There's at least 1.5 servings of soba. Kamaboko and pickles are included too. No complaints about the flavor. The portions are huge. The interior is clean, with surprisingly ample seating, and I was surprised to find a Japanese-style private room (for family visits? Small gatherings such as memorial services?). I don't think it's 100% buckwheat soba, but I'm no soba connoisseur… You can get a mixed serving of soba and udon or either on its own, and pair it with individual tempura or a set meal. There seem to be several toppings, including mochi. Parking for 4 cars!
View on GoogleThe nearest station is Kami-Igusa, but it's right near Igusa Hachiman Shrine. The interior was neat and clean—was it rebuilt? It still felt new. I was going to order a katsudon set, but the menu didn't have that kind of set. What they had instead was the Igusa Lunch. Apparently it comes with soba or udon and tempura. Since I was there, I went with that( ^ω^ ) The set's tempura was shrimp, eggplant, and shiso. Freshly fried, of course. The soba was noticeably white. It tasted light in the mouth. The dipping sauce wasn't strong, but dipping the tempura into it gave it a lovely rounded richness.
View on GoogleI had lunch here with my 5-year-old son (a soba lover). Everything was delicious, and the value and portions were wonderful—we were very satisfied💞 Thank you for the meal.
View on GoogleThe nukazuke pickles served with their rice bowls are delicious. I'd really like them to add them as a separate menu item. I liked the old storefront too. Update) When I visited after a long time, the pickles had been added as a separate menu item. It was cold today, so I had tempura soba. Another update) Although it wasn't on the menu, they changed the udon in the 「nabeyaki udon」 to soba for me🙇♂️.
View on GoogleI had the limited-quantity Igusa Lunch. The daily special was 3 kinds of tempura😊 The soba portion was generous and filling. The tempura coating was hard and wasn't to my taste.
