Old school soba and tempura shop. Owner / chef had probably been running it for half a century. Very long menu. All looks great. Lovely cozy atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Couldn’t be better. As we’re new to the area it’s a great find. And it’s great value for money. Two lunches for ¥1850.

The food here is delicious, and the place has an atmosphere that feels like it’s straight out of “Solitary Gourmet.” Plus, the prices are very reasonable. The tempura rice bowl, in particular, was fantastic! When I visited, the owner was handling everything alone, so the service took a bit longer. Take your time and enjoy a relaxed meal!

Surprising good local tempura store for its friendly price bracket. I review this based on its local, authenticity, and price. You can sense authenticity in the miso soup while tempura might not surprise you but it gives me sense of local food.

The staff was nice old guy, but the soba's flavor was not good. I recommend to go Tenhou eating soba in the neighborhood.

I had the たぬきそば in the A set. I was very satisfied with the excellent-value soba and tendon. Personally, I really liked the broth. Men with a fairly big appetite might find the portion a little small, so I'd recommend a large serving of soba. The tendon even had 2 shrimp, and the eggplant was delicious, too. Thank you for a wonderful lunch.
