No English support but they have a very welcoming environment and chill, helpful staff. You'll need some help with the menu but you can trust everything they recommend. All delicious. Not many vegetarian options but they have both fish and meat dishes.
View on GoogleA great izakaya with awesome staff and an amazing ever-changing menu! They have the best karaage in Japan!!!

About 10 minutes from 阿佐ヶ谷駅 along 中杉通り toward 早稲田通り. A fun place with lots of energetic staff. The vegetables wrapped in pork belly and charcoal-grilled change daily. That day it was スティックセニョール. On other days they have rapeseed blossoms, garlic chives, and more. Fragrant and delicious. Many snacks are seasoned to go perfectly with drinks, so it’s easy to drink too much.
View on Google【2024 Autumn 阿佐ヶ谷 Drinking Spots Festival】First stop on the 6th The second-farthest place in the northern area. The booklet featured something called バン麺, which really intrigued me. They had medium bottles of 赤星, so bottled beer today. Lager really is delicious. Ordered a mildly spicy salad of Chinese-style jellyfish and cucumber. It arrived in a cute bowl. It looks like a small serving, but the bowl is deep, so it’s satisfying. There are lots of things on the regular menu I’d like to try too, but this is only the first stop (haha). For now, バン麺. Apparently it’s a dish passed down in a very small part of 福島. It looks like sauce yakisoba, but I think it’s soy sauce-flavored. The lack of toppings (?) might be like the 和えそば at 嘉賓 in 四ッ谷. The noodles are chewy, with quite a deep flavor. I’ll have to come back for more (haha). #阿佐ヶ谷飲み屋さん祭り #北口から北へ歩く #バン麺
View on GoogleI live nearby, so I come often. The yakitori is simply delicious. Each skewer is also large, making it good value. There’s always something new among the creative dishes, so every visit feels fresh. Families with children come earlier in the evening too, so I think it’s one of the most family-friendly places to eat in 阿佐ヶ谷. (Of course, there’s no smoking inside.) I forgot to photograph the all-important yakitori.
