村田商會Murata Shokai
We took over the site of the coffee shop "POT" that had been in business for 45 years and are operating it as a coffee shop. Inside and outside the store, we sell furniture and tableware that we took from the coffee shop that closed. You can also come just to look around the store without using the coffee shop.

Good retro Japanese vibes and with only 1000 yen you can get one desserts and one drink. Pudding was very good. Not the typical sugary sweet caramel but was rich and slightly bitter. Cheesecake was rare and delicious ~
View on GoogleLove the vibe here. It's a tiny Japanese showa retro cafe(=kissaten) run by a lovely and kindhearted couple. I like their "Udon Napolitan" but today I tried their dainty Japanese cheese cake which I quickly finished in a few minutes, haha. They sell vintage porcelain, baking molds, kitchen tools, glassware and furniture. Some of them are displayed outside their shop and inside as well. No need to eat-in if you just want to browse and look around some vintage goods. You could be a bit surprised by the retro Japanese restroom but it's something you rarely see these day. All in all you can experience the whole Showa era atmosphere here.
View on GoogleAbout a dozen seats at a corner I often go past, but maybe it looks more like a kitchenware shop than a coffee shop? Lots of silverware and cups and such for sale. Even some little dining tables outside. Again hard-pressed to capture the atmosphere... Kind of European mixed with bric-a-brac? No Wi-Fi or charging. Not sure why I felt like the rare cheese cake set, but it was a very nice cheesecake with a creamy flavorful top and a chocolate bottom. Coffee was also excellent. Willing to call it a high four stars even without Wi-Fi.
View on GoogleSuch a pleasure to still find this kind of places in Tokyo. It is retro Showa style. The music is very chilly And the overall spirit of the place is relaxing. If you are walking around, It worth coming
View on GoogleExit from the north exit of Nishi-Ogikubo Station, and if you go straight, there is a shop on the street. It is a coffee shop with a long-established feel. I was feeling a little hungry, so I ordered a set of Napolitan and coffee. Napolitan eaten in the cold rain is delicious! The interior of the store, in places, makes you feel retro.
