The flavor of these carefully prepared skewers is the real deal! A grown-up grilled-skewer tavern perfect for an evening spent leisurely enjoying a wide range of snacks and drinks. Momokushi offers quality grilled skewers and thoughtfully prepared izakaya dishes in a relaxed atmosphere. Among the dishes I had this time, the signature skewers were of a quality that made me wholeheartedly agree that “the skewers were delicious.” Slowly grilled to fragrant perfection with precisely controlled heat, each bite fills your mouth with the ingredients' natural juices and umami, making them an ideal accompaniment to drinks. Opening the menu, “there are lots of snacks overall,” with not just skewers but a broad selection of small dishes that pair wonderfully with drinks and creative appetizers, allowing you to sip while sampling a little of many dishes. Because each dish's quality and preparation time are reflected in the price, there was also an aspect that “felt rather expensive,” but in return, the space offers a sense of privacy where you can leisurely enjoy quality meat and carefully prepared food. It is a place for adults that I would visit as a treat on an evening when I feel, “Once in a while, I want to indulge a little and slowly enjoy drinks with delicious grilled skewers and plenty of snacks.

Today is a farewell party for those being transferred on October 1. We came to a chicken restaurant. Chicken mince cutlet, tandoori-style drumettes, chicken kushikatsu, and teriyaki chicken pizza. A bit much for us older guys, but delicious. The staff's service is good too. The takeout is tempting as well.

Stopped by with my family at lunchtime on the weekend and bought a karaage don from the unattended sales area. The rice was clearly hard as if it had been refrigerated, giving a strong impression of having been made in advance. The other sides also made me wonder whether leftovers from the izakaya were being sold the following day, so honestly, it did not leave a very good impression.

Delicious, reassuring, comforting bento. They also offered takeout during the pandemic! As someone who feels sick from convenience-store and chain-restaurant rice, I am truly grateful. The deliciousness you experience eating at this restaurant comes through unchanged in its bento. Restaurant-quality bento beyond home cooking, without strange additives. 【Tips for bringing out the flavor】 Warm it in the microwave. It is different from convenience-store bento rice that somehow stays fluffy even when cold thanks to additives. 【When it is an even better deal】 From around a little before the last train, prices are reduced to incredible bargains! Among the very spontaneous selection, if you happen upon a huge, tender harasu, buy it immediately ☻

An izakaya near the station with an extensive sake selection. Apparently they have plenty more stock than what is displayed inside. Tell the staff your preferences, and they will pick out some options. You can also try three kinds at once in a tasting comparison (for a charge, of course). There are various drinking snacks to choose from and enjoy. The staff are friendly too; all in all, a comfortable place for people who love a drink. The only problem is that you end up drinking too much. Many of the recommended sake come from small regional breweries, making you want to try them. When visiting, enjoy yourself while keeping your budget in mind.
