Super serious sushi. Fish/Rice balance is just right.

A sushi restaurant between Inokashira-dori and Itsukaichi-kaido, reached by walking along Kanpachi toward Ogikubo from Takaido Station. You wouldn't guess from the storefront, but it's a proper sushi restaurant. There are plenty of sushi chefs, and you can enjoy great-value sushi. At lunchtime, there's a wide range of set menus, some with a mini salad, and they're good deals. Lunch rating＝３．５

The ratings were high, so I had big expectations, and I really don't want to give this rating, but… First, there were way too many little flies inside… They landed on the sushi and plates… So filthy… and I wanted to eat in peace… I squashed 3 with the hand towel…🪰 There were still more, by the way…🪰 I handed the staff the towel with the flies on it, but they didn't say sorry or anything… And the sushi—the sashimi was leaking water, so the taste… lol Why is this place rated so highly…? Also, I don't need 5 tuna pieces out of 12 lolol Even the supermarket's tuna tastes better. The shrimp, engawa, clear soup, and salad were tasty—or rather, totally ordinary lololol So 2 stars feels like I'm being generous💦 I had big expectations but left without being impressed by any of the flavors lolol It's 1400円, so I guess that's how it goes. Without the flies, 3 stars. It's cheap, and having few customers and a quiet interior is nice, but I won't go again… There weren't any recent reviews, so maybe it used to be good lolol

Large nigiri (12 pieces, 1 roll) The nigiri was delicious, but it was a shame there were 2-3 pieces with the same topping. Good value at this price with salad and fish trimmings soup.
