Including the weird little mezzanine in the back it's about 30 seats. Quite a pleasant atmosphere with lots of vinyl and a few books. Interesting little replica of the famous sun statue from Osaka. After I came in he started playing "Zopf: Milk" by the Penguin Cafe Orchestra. Supposed to have Wi-Fi, but I couldn't connect and got a strange error message. Did not seem to be a password failure. I wonder if the smartphone security software blocked it for some reason. The Rakuten Mobile signal was okay. Very nice coffee, though I was a bit surprised by how quickly it was ready. Maybe lucky timing on my part? I'm going to call it a strong four stars.

View on GoogleThe interior built over 9 months by the owner, who left his salaried job, his wife, and a carpenter is amazing (the floor, windows, stairs, loft, kitchen—everything!). They apparently made it by hand using old building materials collected or bought from various places; the interior is full of ingenuity, creativity, and wood, and it's wonderfully comfortable. The friendly owner chats a lot, and the curry was delicious too.
View on GoogleFirst visit to a neighborhood coffee shop in 高井戸! I went with my wife, and we ordered Napoleon and juujuu rice♪ The shop had a stylish atmosphere, and tasteful music was playing. I'd like to go again. Maybe I'll order curry and iced coffee next time^ ^
View on GoogleA shop with a really lovely owner. They serve delicious coffee while playing music on records. I recommend the chicken curry. There were lots of alcoholic drinks along the counter wall, so I'll visit at night next time. I discovered it because they co-organize 高井戸芸術祭.
