We ordered scallops/ shrimp curry and chicken/ vegetable curry- absolutely wonderful. You can add up spices and seasonings including fried garlic, cumin, red pepper and cinnamon. The cozy atmosphere and some relaxing music were nice as well.

View on GoogleAlthough it takes more than 5 minutes to walk from the station, I felt that this shop is worth visiting, including the journey there. The interior is not flashy, but it is a calm space where you can feel the attention to detail everywhere, and you can enjoy your meal in a relaxed manner. The curry itself looks simple, but once you eat it, the flavors of the spices and ingredients are layered, giving it a depth beyond what you would imagine. The taste that spreads slowly without relying only on stimulation is impressive, and I was able to enjoy it until the end without getting bored. There are no flashy toppings or presentations, but that is precisely why the high level of perfection of the curry itself stands out. Also, after opening for a while, customers visited one after another, and it became crowded in an instant. It seems that there are many fans who visit from far away, not just locals. It seems that you might have to wait depending on the time of day, so visiting a little early is recommended. This is one place I would definitely recommend to those who want to enjoy a delicious and deep curry in Asagaya. I will definitely use it again!
View on GoogleMy craving for curry increased, so I made an emergency visit to 'Curry no Jikan' in Asagaya. Inside the shop, Lisa Ono's 'Shiroi Michi' was playing, creating a calm and peaceful atmosphere. I ordered a mix of chicken curry and vegetable curry, and potato salad. I was happy that there were lots of vegetables, such as two-colored bell peppers, green beans, cauliflower, onions, cabbage, and carrots. The chicken curry was thick and rich with a flavor that highlights sweetness. Both are quite delicious. The rice with barley was a bit soft, which is a little different from my preference, but even the regular portion made me full and satisfied. Be careful when sprinkling the table spices halfway through as the spiciness increases dramatically. Sprinkle a little at a time. A satisfying plate that fulfills my curry cravings.
