A karaage shop right outside 方南町 station, always giving off a lovely aroma. There were so many varieties that I couldn't decide, then I spotted the 「よくばりパック」 that lets you enjoy three flavors. They fry it after you order, so I hurried home with it piping hot. The karaage pieces are big; making these at home takes quite a bit of effort, so buying them to take home is the right choice. Very juicy karaage.

It's a karaage bento shop. The kind of flavor you want to eat regularly if there's a shop nearby. Both the salt and soy sauce flavors are excellent. Everything from ordering to being served is smooth too, which is great.

My favorite bento shop closed during the COVID pandemic, and while I was missing karaage bento, this was the first shop that came up when I searched for “karaage specialty shop” on GoogleMap. On my first day I ordered a mixed soy sauce and salt bento, but the seasoning on the salt-flavored karaage was so much to my taste that I've only ordered salt since then. The salt and pepper are pronounced, and the meat is soft and tender. It stays crunchy even when cold, and the rice is delicious too. You wait almost 10 minutes after ordering, but it's worth it. A shop I hope will remain a symbol of 方南町 for many years to come.
